The first record of Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann, 1910 on the island of La Gomera (Canary Islands, Spain) is reported. The known distribution of the species in the archipelago is summarised. Furthermore, an incorrect record of Beosus maritimus (Scopoli, 1763) reported before is corrected.
